YOU WILL THEN BE REDIRECTED TO PAY ON THE CITY'S REC WEBSITE AND MUST MATCH THE NUMBER YOU BOOK TO THE NUMBER YOU PAY FOR *** Private lessons are a great way to supercharge your child's confidence and abilities in the water. With private lessons through Tiger Shark, you have the freedom to choose the instructor and lesson times that are right for you. Not seeing times that work for you? You can check the current availability of our other instructors! Private swim lessons are for kids ages 3 and up. Private lessons with Coach Sean will be held at the Lake Wilmore Recreation Center from April 13th - May 22nd and will move to the Samford pool for the rest of the summer. In the case of inclement weather, pool closure, or instructor absence, you must get with your instructor to schedule a makeup session. Coach Sean has eight years of competitive swim experience and eight years of teaching lessons. He takes a structured, results-driven approach, helping swimmers of all levels build strong fundamentals, refine technique, and make measurable progress. Coach Sean is currently accepting children ages 3-12, including children with special needs, as well as adults ages 13 and up.
Cancellation Policy
8. Cancellation Policy – For private lessons held at City of Auburn aquatic facilities, lessons will be cancelled if the following occur: inclement weather (defined as lightning detected within 10 miles of the facility or audible thunder), pool closure, or instructor absence. In these cases, your instructor will offer two (2) makeup date/time options. If the provided options are not possible for the client to attend, Tiger Shark Swim School LLC will make a good faith effort to pair the client with another qualified instructor for the purposes of the makeup. Makeup lessons will be scheduled no later than two (2) weeks from the cancelled lesson. If the client is unable to attend a makeup within this two-week period, the makeup will be voided and ineligible for refund. If the client fails to attend any lesson—scheduled or makeup—the lesson will be considered missed, and no makeup or refund will be provided. If any individual lesson is more than halfway complete and is canceled due to inclement weather, it will not be considered a canceled lesson for refund purposes nor eligible for a makeup. Should it be necessary for Tiger Shark Swim School LLC to cancel a course in its entirety, a place in the same or similar course at a later date may be offered; however, no guarantee can be made. 9. Refund Policy – To be eligible for a refund due to voluntary cancellation prior to the start of lessons, the request must be submitted in the same calendar month in which payment was made. In this case, the client will receive a 100% refund. If a voluntary cancellation is requested outside of the payment month but more than 30 days prior to the start of lessons, Tiger Shark Swim School LLC may issue a 90% refund at its discretion. The client is ineligible for any refund if the cancellation request is made fewer than 30 days before the start of lessons. If a client misses a lesson without prior instructor cancellation, it will not be considered a canceled lesson for refund purposes, unless otherwise stated by the instructor. Clients are not eligible for refunds if they choose to stop attending lessons, unless otherwise stated by the instructor. If a lesson is cancelled due to inclement weather, pool closure, or instructor absence and Tiger Shark Swim School LLC is unable to provide a makeup within two (2) weeks of the cancelled lesson, the client is eligible for a 90% refund.
