About the Course
Semi-Private Swim Lessons are our most popular class, and it's easy to see why: our 3:1 small group set-up ensures that your child receives plenty of individualized instruction while saving money when compared to more expensive private lessons. Additionally, our 5 days of back-to-back lessons allows for continuous learning with no gaps in instruction.
Semi-Private Swim Lessons for ages 4-12 years old and consist of 5, 30 minute lessons Monday-Friday for one week for $200 at the Lake Wilmore Recreation Center indoor pool. Makeup lessons will be offered in the case of inclement weather.
There are 3 skill groups for Semi-Private Swim Lessons.
Beginner 1: Your child is BRAND NEW to lessons. They do not need any previous experience in the water. However, they must be potty trained, not in diapers, and able to listen to instruction.
Beginner 2: This is for the child who has had lessons. Your child MUST be comfortable in the water, hold their face in the water, understand the basics of swimming (ex. arm scoops and kicks). They may lack technique and/or confidence.
Intermediate: This is for the child who can swim confidently. Your child MUST be able to swim alone without assistance of any kind. They may lack additional stokes, endurance, and treading water.
