Where do I pay for lessons?

Our lessons take place at the Lake Wilmore Recreation Center. Since this is a City of Auburn facility, you will book on our website and will then be directed to our payment page on the city's Rec website.

Where are Tiger Shark Swim School lessons located?

Accepted Answer

All Tiger Shark swim lessons are held at the Lake Wilmore Recreation Center pool. If it is available, the Samford pool will be used as a back-up location in the event of a closure of the Lake Wilmore pool.

Question 3

What is the minimum age requirement for swimming classes at Tiger Shark Swim School LLC?

Accepted Answer

Mommy & Me -  Ages 18 months to 3 years
Spring Refreshers, Semi-private lessons, and Fall Follow-Ups - Ages 4 to 12
Adult Swim Lessons - Ages 13 and up
Stroke Clinics - No strict age requirements, for those on a swim team or considering joining one.
Private Lessons - Ages 3 and up, including Adults

What are the class sizes at Tiger Shark Swim School LLC?

We keep our class sizes small to ensure personalized attention and instruction. Most of our classes use a 3:1 ratio! Mommy & Me groups and Stroke Clinics can have larger group sizes.

Question 5

What if I sign my child up for the wrong group?

Accepted Answer

It is important to sign your child up for the right group, because we cannot guarantee availability in the appropriate group after lessons have started. If there is an opening in the appropriate group, we can move your child to that group. If not, they will stay in the group they were registered for and we will try to accommodate their needs as best as possible.

Question 6

Do you offer make-ups for missed swim lessons?

Accepted Answer

We do not offer make-ups if you miss a lesson, so it is important to sign up for a session that works best for your schedule. In the event of thunder or lightning near the pool, lessons will end if they are in progress and we will notify clients of cancelled lessons if necessary. A weather make-up day will be provided. In the event of a pool malfunction, we will try our best to reschedule but we cannot make any guarantees.

After I book can I switch my date, time, or lesson?

You may email us at info@tigersharkswimmingschool.com (info@tigersharkswimmingschool.com)to possibly switch lessons. We cannot make any promises or guarantees that another spot will be available. If nothing is available you can stick with your original time or cancel with a refund if the class is more than 30 days out. You are not eligible for a refund if the class is less than 30 days from starting. Making sure you pick the best week for your child is crucial.
