Service Description
Mommy & Me classes are for ages 18 months - 3 years and provides parents with information/techniques to help them orient their child to the water in a safe and comfortable manner and supervise water activities. There are 3 age levels that work on everything from water adjustment to swim lesson preparation. Completing Mommy & Me levels will give your child a leg up when starting lessons. Parent/guardian is required to be in the water with the child. Mommy & Me consists of 4, 30 minute classes either M/W or T/Th for two weeks, for $85. Friday’s will be used for makeups in the case of weather cancellations during the week Level 2 - This level is designed for children ages 2 to 3. Your child MUST understand and willingly perform kicking and scooping movements. At this level, we are still building comfort, but expanding on skills in the water including: face in the water, floating, etc. This is the last step before practicing independent swimming.

Cancellation Policy
8. Cancellation Policy- Should for any reason the client and/or the instructor are not able to make a lesson, a 24-hour notice is required unless unable due to pool circumstances. If the client fails to attend, the lesson will be missed. If there is a cancellation due to pool issues or unforeseen circumstances there will be an attempt to include a makeup lesson, but in no way is this a guarantee. There are NO refunds if you choose to cancel when already in lessons, unless agreed upon by the instructor. Should it be necessary for Tiger Shark Swim School LLC to cancel a course in its entirety, a place on the same or similar course at a later date may be available, in which case Tiger Shark Swim School LLC will attempt to move affected individuals, although no guarantee can be made. There may be circumstances beyond our control and contemplation in which the pool might not be available for Tiger Shark sessions; examples of these circumstances include (but are not limited to) damage to the pool, severe weather conditions, power failures, and industrial action. Additionally, City of Auburn aquatic facilities require shut down following three hours of consecutive closure due to inclement weather. Such circumstances are referred to as 'Unavoidable Incidents.' Where reasonably possible, Tiger Shark will try to include an additional lesson during breaks or other available dates. However this can be in no way guaranteed. 9. Refund Policy- We understand that plans can change. Please review our refund policy below: Refund Eligibility: Refunds are available only if a cancellation request is submitted more than 30 days before the program start date. Clients are also eligible for a refund if a majority of lessons are missed due to instructor absence or ‘Unavoidable Incidents’ as defined in Section 8. Refund Amount: Approved cancellations are eligible for a 90% refund. The remaining 10% covers administrative fees and processing costs for the City of Auburn. Should a client be eligible for a refund due to a majority of lessons being cancelled due to instructor absence or ‘Unavoidable Incidents’, the client will receive a prorated refund. The refund amount in such a case will be calculated based on the cost of the course minus administrative fees withdrawn by the City of Auburn, divided by the total number of lessons in the course, times the number of lessons missed due to instructor absence or ‘Unavoidable Incidents’.
